Looking up, you see a sign that reads:

the Grafficious logo

“Grafficious? What’s Grafficious?” you wonder to yourself as you step into the studio.

At a glance, you can see that though the studio is small, it is comfortably – if a bit modestly – furnished and despite the hard concrete walls and flooring, the overall atmosphere still manages to be inviting.

With the overstuffed leather armchairs, sofas, and beanbag chairs scattered around a media center on one side and the drafting tables and office setup on the other and with a wrought iron spiral staircase in the middle that leads up to another closed off area on the second floor, you realize that you are visiting the studio of an artist.

Intrigued, you pick up one of the many photo albums that decorate a nearby coffee table and start flipping through the pages.

A few pages in, you discover that the pictures in the album – formal pencil and pen sketches on paper, digital drawing printouts, and the occasional scribbles on the back of restaurant napkins – match the images displayed on the studio walls in a fashion that reminds you of graffiti murals.

You’re in the middle of staring and tracing out the design that makes up the centerpiece display…
